Locations & practical information

Sail in the heart of the Vaucluse, on the Sorgue river from the aqueduct in complete safety. Our team is at your disposal to propose you a guided descent between Fontaine de Vaucluse and L’Isle sur la Sorgue (84).

The Sorgue is a fragile and protected environment, please respect the fauna and flora as well as the quietness of the place by navigating in harmony with nature.

Before the descent, Kayak Vert provides you with the necessary equipment.

  • Canoe-kayak rental for 2, 3 or 4 people.

  • Single paddle(s)

  • Waistcoats (All our waistcoats are disinfected after each use)

  • Comfort seats only for Optimo Canoes (subject to availability).

Prepare your visit

Good to know

During your canoe trip, please respect the Sorgue and the ecology in order to preserve this fragile treasure.

For your peace of mind, we have a supervised car park. To ensure your safety, we advise you not to park along the road to the Aqueduct.

  • Be able to swim 25 metres, know how to immerse yourself and be at ease in the water.

  • Children aged 6 and over are admitted if they comply with swimming, immersion and aquatic proficiency requirements and are accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Wear clothing suitable for water sports.

  • Water is wet! The Sorgue is cold.

  • Picnics and fires are prohibited on the river and its banks.

  • Do not disembark on the banks, which are private property.

  • Keep away from fishermen and avoid making noise.
